In our entire life cycle, Caesarstone makes responsible choices.

At Caesarstone, sustainability is integrated into every aspect of our lifecycle. Our certifications are proof of our deep commitment to environmental and social responsibility.

Environmental Product Declaration

Caesarstone has been creating countertops from natural materials for over 35 years. Our first certified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is an important milestone in our sustainability journey and helps guide us – and our customers – to understand the environmental impacts of our products in a clearer, transparent manner.

The EPD is an important step in our sustainability vision and forges our path towards a more sustainable and healthy future.

Environmental Product Declaration

GREENGUARD

All Caesarstone surfaces comply with American GEI (GREENGUARD Environmental Institute) certification which primarily verifies that Caesarstone’s products meet the most stringent indoor air emission standards.
GREENGUARD Gold Standard, evaluates the sensitive nature of school populations combined with the unique building characteristics found in schools, and presents the most rigorous product emissions criteria to date.

The GREENGUARD Certification Program is an industry-independent, third-party testing program for low-emitting products and materials. GREENGUARD establishes acceptable indoor air standards for indoor products, environments, and buildings.

Declare label:
Building a Transparent Future

Caesarstone has added a third-party verified Declare label to the majority our interior products so that you can know what is in the products you covet for your next project.

Our ingredients are listed on Declare Labels that are verified and approved by an external third party.

For full transparency, you can trust what’s precisely inside most of our products, which are 100% fit for use in Living Building Challenge (LBC) projects, LEED buildings, and International Living Future Institute (ILFI) initiatives.

Contribution to LEED

Developed by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), LEED is a green building rating system, which rates buildings of all types (residential, commercial, new and renewed). Based on the number of points achieved, a project then receives one of four LEED rating levels: Certified, Silver, Gold or Platinum. Products (like Caesarstone quartz slabs) can contribute points to a project based on different parameters.

Red List Declaration

This declaration certifies that none of the materials from the Red List (as detailed on the International Living Future Institute), is intentionally added to the listed Caesarstone models.

Health Product Declaration (HPD)

The Health Product Declaration (HPD)® Open Standard* necessitates a full disclosure of the potential chemicals of concern in products by comparing product ingredients to a set of priority “hazard” lists based on the GreenScreen for Safer Chemicals and additional lists from other government agencies.
